Travel Insurance for Tourists Departing from Uzbekistan

Travel insurance for tourists departing from Uzbekistan is valid only if this service is added to the booking and an insurance policy is issued. The insurance policy is issued only before the start of the tour and provided that all passport details are correct and the booking is fully paid. The insured amount is EUR 30,000 per person.

This medical insurance covers a wide range of illnesses and situations, including:

  1. Emergency medical assistance: treatment of acute illnesses and injuries requiring immediate medical intervention.
  2. Hospitalization: expenses related to hospital stays, including accommodation, treatment, and medical procedures.
  3. Outpatient treatment: medical consultations, diagnostics, and treatment outside a hospital.
  4. Surgical operations: coverage of surgical procedures if the operation cannot be postponed until returning to the home country (for example, appendicitis, etc.).
  5. Prescription medications: costs of medicines prescribed by a doctor.
  6. Emergency ambulance services: transportation and urgent medical assistance.
  7. Sudden illnesses: coverage of diseases that were not foreseeable before the trip (such as influenza, burns, sunstroke, etc.).
  8. Emergency dental care: treatment of urgent dental conditions.

Also Covered

  • Infectious diseases.
  • Accidents and injuries.
  • Chronic diseases, if an exacerbation occurs during the trip (coverage limit: EUR 700)

Страховщик не оплачивает расходы, которые прямо или косвенно вызваны:

— a terrorist act (an act that involves the use of force or violence, or the threat of such use, by any person or group of persons acting alone or in connection with or on behalf of any organization or government, carried out for political, religious, ideological, or ethnic reasons and intended to influence the government or threaten society or any part thereof), including damage caused by measures to prevent a terrorist act;

— acts of war, invasion by a foreign enemy, military operations (regardless of whether war is declared or not), civil wars, uprisings, revolutions, riots, and civil unrest;

— accidents resulting from the Insured Person’s participation in gambling and crimes, as well as in fights, except for actions related to the performance of their civic duty or the protection of their life, health, honor, and dignity (or those of third parties);

— accidents involving the Insured Person as a result of driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, narcotic, toxic, or other intoxication and/or without the appropriate permission/right to drive a vehicle, as well as when the Insured Person transfers control of the vehicle to a person who is in the above-mentioned state and/or without the above-mentioned permission/right, regardless of the Insurance Program;

— the Insured Person committing an unlawful act that caused the insured event to occur;

— providing documents containing knowingly false information regarding the Insured Person’s state of health or the medical and related services provided to them;

— failure to submit the necessary documents confirming the occurrence of the insured event and the amount of losses caused as a result of the insured event;

— in other cases provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

— In accordance with the terms of these Rules, the Insurer is exempt from liability and does not cover indirect losses, lost profits, penalties, fines, forfeits, and other financial sanctions.

In the event of an insured event, the Tourist must contact the insurance company using the contact details specified in the policy.

If, for whatever reason, a tourist has paid for medical expenses themselves (in the country where they are vacationing), they must:

  1. Keep the following documents:

– receipts and invoices for medical services

– medical report and doctor’s prescriptions

– prescriptions for medication

  1. Fill out a claim form within 30 days of returning from your trip at the insurance company’s offices or in the Neo Insurance mobile app
  2. Attach the documents received from the clinic, insurance policy, and passport to the claim form
  3. The claim will be reviewed by the insurance company within 15 days of submitting all of the above documents.
