4 Michelin-Starred Restaurants in Dubai Featuring Unique World Cuisines

We are used to thinking of Dubai as a city of futuristic skyscrapers and luxurious beaches, yet many overlook the fact that it is also a true paradise for fine-dining enthusiasts. The city ranks among the world’s Top 10 gastronomic destinations. Here, you can taste almost everything — from distinctive Middle Eastern flavors to gourmet cuisine from Asia, Europe, and other parts of the world. According to the Michelin Guide, Dubai is home to 86 Michelin-listed restaurants, which is why we have curated a special selection of venues representing diverse global cuisines that have earned this prestigious recognition.

Dinner by Heston Blumenthal ⭐

Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, a one-Michelin-star restaurant, is located at Atlantis The Royal. Awarded the Order of the British Empire for his contribution to gastronomy, chef Heston Blumenthal invites guests to experience British cuisine of the 13th century through his own interpretation. For years, he developed the menu based on historical cookbooks used by the chefs of King Richard II, studied archival works at the British Library in London, and drew inspiration from Lewis Carroll and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Heston’s signature dishes include Meat Fruit — a chicken liver and foie gras parfait coated in mandarin jelly — as well as Tipsy Cake, an 18th-century dessert featuring spit-roasted pineapple.

Moonrise ⭐

Moonrise, led by Franco-Syrian chef Solemann Haddad, is located on the rooftop of Eden House. One of the restaurant’s defining features is its open kitchen at the center of the dining room, allowing guests to watch the cooking process up close. The menu is a bold fusion of Japanese and Middle Eastern cuisines, confidently using spices such as shatta chili, sumac, and muhammara. It features just 12 dishes, each designed to leave a strong impression. Signature creations include “90s Alfredo” — lobster ravioli with jalapeño — and Explosion, a dish built around foie gras with date syrup, saffron chutney, and pineapple.

Torno Subito ⭐

Torno Subito is the first restaurant opened outside Italy by chef Massimo Bottura, located on Palm Jumeirah. The Italian menu goes far beyond the classic favorites, offering not only pizza, but also cacio e pepe pasta with cheese and black pepper, ravioli filled with ricotta and lasagna, deep-fried calamari, and the restaurant’s signature dessert — tiramisubito.

Chef Bottura himself strongly recommends trying the lamb saddle glazed with orange.
And, of course, it is best enjoyed with a glass of Prosecco.

Tresind Studio ⭐⭐

Tresind Studio is another restaurant located on Palm Jumeirah, this time showcasing contemporary Indian cuisine. The menu is curated by chef Himanshu Saini, who is known for his bold and experimental approach. The team places great emphasis on creative plating, with dishes that seem perfectly designed for Instagram. A guest favorite is pani puri — crispy hollow shells served as an appetizer. From Tresind Studio’s drinks selection, special attention should be paid to natural wines. The grape juice is fermented exclusively using traditional methods and natural yeasts, with minimal filtration and no preservatives.
